A young Honduran man of just 17 years of age lost his life in Mexican territory when he was searching for the so-called ‘ American dream ‘ in the United States.
The minor was identified as Ariel Eduardo Cruz Alemán , who was originally from the municipality of El Porvenir, Francisco Morazán, in central Honduras.
According to the information provided so far, Cruz Alemán was on the so-called migrant route when he was intercepted and killed by members of a criminal organization in Aztec territory.
The sad news has shocked the community of El Porvenir, where Ariel was known for his kindness and dreams of progress.
Family and friends have also left heartfelt messages on social media expressing their regret at his passing and saying they will miss him greatly.
It is not yet known whether Cruz Alemán ‘s body will be repatriated to his native El Porvenir for a holy burial.
