Lionesses star Mary Earps, who joined Manchester United in 2019, was the club’s first-choice goalkeeper until the summer of 2024 when she exited Old Trafford to join Paris Saint-Germain. With Earps parting ways with the club, manager Marc Skinner decided to promote American custodian Tullis-Joyce as the team’s new number one.

WHAT MARC SKINNER SAID
Speaking to BBC, Skinner said, “Phallon is the best shot-stopper I have ever worked with in my life. She is an incredible footballer, an incredibly intelligent human and I’m really looking forward to showing you what she can do for this team. She is a big-time goalkeeper. That’s why I brought her.”
