Today, thanks to advances in astronomy and Artificial Intelligence (AI), scientists and experts have managed to estimate the moment when the Sun will reach its setting , inevitably leaving the planet without the energy that sustains life.

ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini provide a clear but terrifying idea of ​​when the Sun will run out of fuel and trigger a series of events that could potentially mark the end of humanity.

The Sun, like all stars, follows a defined life cycle. It is currently in the main sequence phase, where it fuses hydrogen in its core, generating the energy that sustains life on Earth.

This stable state could last for about  5 billion more years , according to more recent models based on data analyzed by AI systems.

During this phase, the Earth will be enveloped in a scorching atmosphere that will destroy any existing life forms.

This drastic change in the dynamics of the solar system will affect the orbit of the remaining planets and could eject some of them from their current trajectories.

The predictions, though based on sophisticated calculations, underscore the importance of preparing for a distant, if alarming, future.

Advances in AI contribute to the creation of survival scenarios for humanity, even despite the temporal remoteness of these events.  The ability of humans to develop technology that allows emigration to other solar systems is crucial .

Scientific organizations are exploring “stellar colonization” projects, which involve sending generations of humans to nearby solar systems. Although it sounds like science fiction, these proposals are receiving serious attention from the scientific community.
