Aunty Ajara, a Nigerian film actress, opened up about a difficult time in her life.
During a chat with her fellow actress Bimpe Akintunde, known as Wasila Coded, on the Wasila Coded podcast, she talked about her past pregnancy.
When Akintunde inquired if she felt like a complete woman, Aunty Ajara mentioned that she was not married to the man who got her pregnant.
She explained that the rapist was a friend of her sister’s husband. Because she spent a lot of time at their home, she grew close to him, which led to her being assaulted.
As a result of the assault, Aunty Ajara became pregnant, but she only found out when she was about 5 to 6 months along, and a doctor told her she was having a boy.
Aunty Ajara later gave birth to the boy, who unfortunately died three days after birth. The actress also revealed that the man admitted to the assault when her family confronted him, but his family wanted nothing to do with her.
