STUDENT NABBED FOR STABBING FINAL-YEAR FUTO UNDERGRADUATE TO DEATH According to a statement issued in Owerri, the state capital on Friday, by the command’s spokesperson, Henry Okoye, the victim, Marvellous Kingsley, was killed on Thursday night on campus following an altercation with the suspect. Okoye said that the IMSU undergraduate was arrested by the men of the command following a distress call. The suspect was said to have confessed to the crime, admitting that he stabbed the victim with a knife during a heated argument with members of the university’s Man O’ War unit.

FCT POLICE ARREST 15 FOR LOOTING WAREHOUSE The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has said it has arrested 15 suspects in connection with the vandalism of a warehouse belonging to the Federal Capital Development Authority in Abuja. The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, said this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja. She said two security guards employed by the warehouse management were among the suspects arrested over the vandalism of the warehouse in the Tasha area of Abuja. Adeh said 26 bags of maize, five motorcycles and some vandalised aluminum roofing sheets were recovered from the suspects.
