Camera captures violent attempted kidnapping of businessman in Olancho

A security camera video showing the dramatic moment when four men tried to kidnap a businessman in Olancho went viral on social media on Monday.
The victim, preliminarily identified as Roberto, who according to preliminary information is the owner of a plastics company, was injured after bravely resisting the attack.
In the images, it can be seen how the businessman was approached by three subjects who tried to force him into a black tourist-type vehicle.
Despite the pulling and the violent struggle, the man managed to resist the attempts of his captors, who finally left him on the ground and fled the scene after failing to achieve their goal.
The whereabouts of those responsible are still unknown, however, national media reports that one of the alleged suspects in the attempted kidnapping was found dead hours later in Lepaguare, Olancho.
Authorities are expected to launch an investigation to identify the suspects and clarify the details of this violent incident.
