Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged local authorities to provide concrete proposals to prepare the country for another harsh winter under Russian bombardment.
A source close to the president’s office told the Kyiv Independent that a comprehensive plan addressing military, economic, and political aspects will soon be drafted and presented to the public.
This plan is not an alternative to the “victory plan” already partially revealed by the Ukrainian leader but rather a national strategy to endure the coming winter.
Last week, Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared his “victory plan,” which includes several key points, one of which calls for Ukraine’s swift membership in NATO.
This announcement comes as the United States has obtained concrete evidence of North Korea’s involvement in the conflict.
U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed this week the information shared by Kyiv and Seoul.
“There is evidence that there are DPRK (North Korean) troops in Russia. What exactly they are doing? Left to be seen. These are things that we need to sort out,” he said during a trip in Rome.
