Boat accident in Lake Yojoa
At least three people died and others are missing after a boat sank on Tuesday afternoon in Lake Yojoa, in the department of Cortés, in northern Honduras.
The boat ran out of fuel in the middle of its journey, some passengers said. After they were stranded, a strong wind hit the boat and caused it to capsize, according to preliminary information.
Among the deceased are two adults and a minor , who were on the boat with 12 other people. The identity of the victims is currently unknown.
