Donald Trump once again denounced immigration during a speech he gave at a private event last August in Aspen, Colorado.

According to The Guardian, which received a 12-minute recording taken during the charity meal, the Republican presidential candidate spoke in particular about border control and the migration policy proposed by the Democratic camp.

The billionaire notably claimed, without providing any evidence, that South American countries were sending all their delinquents and criminals to the United States. The former leader also mentioned a false example of 22 people who allegedly came to the United States directly after having spent time in prison in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

“These are the most difficult people. They come from Africa, the Middle East. They come from all parts of Asia, the bad parts, the tough parts, and the only positive thing is they make our criminals look like extremely nice people,” he told the audience.

During his speech, Donald Trump also indicated that Kamala Harris, his Democratic opponent, represented a real danger for democracy.

“Look, we have to win and if we don’t win, this country is going to hell. You know, there’s a saying that this may be the last election we ever have, and it’s a saying that I truly believe, and I believe this may be the last election we ever have,” he explained.
