Mary Trump, niece of former President Donald Trump, warned about the influence she believes her uncle continues to exert over Republican candidates.
Mary Trump , niece of former US president and Republican candidate Donald Trump (2017-2021), attacked her uncle on Wednesday with a message warning that he is a dangerous man and urging people to make donations to Democrats.
” My uncle is a powerful and dangerous man and his threat extends far beyond the White House ,” she said in an email to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC).
His warning noted that judges chosen by Trump during his tenure “continue to carefully carry out his orders long after he has been removed from office.”
Mary Trump also warned that when Trump speaks, his candidates listen: “They listened when he spread the Big Lie on January 6th… and we all know what happened next,” she said in reference to the attack on the Capitol and his claim that there was electoral fraud in the 2020 elections.

Her note added that Donald Trump is the “de facto” leader of the Republican Party . “Almost all Republicans look to him for money, influence and approval ,” she stressed, adding that for all these reasons, conservatives cannot be allowed to regain control of the Senate.
In the November elections, Americans will vote not only for the presidency, but also for the entire House of Representatives , currently in the Republican majority, and for one-third of the Senate, which is in the hands of Democrats.
