These types of fights are common in “the city of fury,” where drivers resort to violence in the face of the traffic chaos that characterizes the Honduran capital.
Two drivers were involved in a fight involving the use of a bat and a hammer after their vehicles collided near the ‘Mamachepa’ market in Comayagüela, in an incident that was recorded by witnesses.
Those involved in the fight are the driver of a city bus, better known as a ‘rapidito’, and the driver of a motorcycle, who paralyzed vehicular traffic in the collision that occurred on Tuesday.
After their vehicles collided, the bus driver got off with a bat in his hand, while the other driver of the motorcycle defended himself with a hammer.
In the video posted on social media, you can see the fight and the recklessness of some “onlookers” who incited the two citizens to fight.
“The guy with the tube, beat him,” shouted the people who witnessed the confrontation, after the bus driver got back into the parked unit.
The motorcyclist also incited the bus driver to fight, while hitting the bus with his fists.
Although the bus followed the motorcycle, which was going down the street leading to the National Stadium, it is unknown if they continued the fight further down the road.
