American rapper Eminem expressed his support for Kamala Harris on Tuesday night. Accordingly, “Slim Shady” will vote for the Democratic presidential candidate in the November presidential election, and he is urging his fans to do the same.
Eminem appeared Tuesday night at a campaign event for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in Detroit. “So look, I wrote down a few things I wanted to say,” the rapper said. “I’m here tonight for a couple of important reasons. As most of you know, the city of Detroit and the entire state of Michigan mean a lot to me.”
“And as we go into this election, we are in the spotlight more than ever, and I think it’s important to use your voice, so I encourage everyone to go out and vote. I also think people shouldn’t be afraid to voice their opinions, and I don’t think anyone wants an America where people are worried about retaliation or what people will do if you voice your opinion. I think Vice President Harris envisions a future for this country where these and many other freedoms are protected and maintained.”
And then none other than Barack Obama appeared on stage to the beats of “Lose Yourself,” the lyrics of which, by the way, he appears to know very well.
