    • WHAT HAPPENED?

Brazilian teenage sensation Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in the summer for a reported fee of €47.5 million (£39.5m/$50m). However, the 18-year-old is struggling to get regular minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu and the 15-time Champions League winners are reportedly considering sending the highly-rated winger away on loan in January for the rest of the season.

        THE BIGGER PICTURE

Spanish publication Super Deporte have now reported that Ronaldo-owned La Liga side, Real Valladolid are considering signing Endrick as they have been struggling in attack and are fighting relegation. The Valladolid-based side have only managed to score 10 goals in 13 La Liga matches, with only Valencia and Getafe having scored fewer (eight). Meanwhile, Endrick is said to be tired of “garbage minutes” at Real Madrid after mainly being used as a substitute when the game has already been decided.

        DID YOU KNOW?

Endrick has only scored one goal so far in La Liga having made eight appearances amounting to 55 minutes. Funnily enough, the Brazilian’s only league goal this season has come against Real Valladolid as he scored on his league debut for Real Madrid.

        WHAT NEXT FOR ENDRICK?

The 18-year-old was not called up to the Brazilian national team for the current international break, and will only be able to return to action when Real Madrid take on Leganes at Estadio Municipal de Butarque on November 24.
