The European Union has delivered nearly 1 million pieces of ammunition to Ukraine.
With this, the EU is keeping its promise, but with a six-month delay. “We have already delivered more than 980,000 pieces, and very soon we will deliver one million,” EU High Representative Josep Borrell told local media on Monday during his visit to Kiev.
Josep Borrell also pointed out that munitions were also delivered through bilateral agreements and the so-called Czech initiative. “In total, we will have delivered more than 1.5 million pieces by the end of the year,” the EU high representative stated.
