Ahead of the legal battle between the Premier League and the Cityzens, Betfair/YouGov conducted a survey where they interacted with more than 2,000 football fans across the UK regarding City’s case. The survey has revealed that more than half (55 per cent) of the fans want a points deduction for the champions if they are found guilty of flouting FFP rules, while 45 per cent want a heavy fine to be imposed on the Manchester club. Meanwhile, 41 per cent of fans want the club to be stripped of the league titles that they won in the last decade.
