Starting Monday, October 7, drivers will receive some positive news: the price of fuel in Honduras will drop. The Ministry of Energy has confirmed this measure, which will begin at 6:00 am and will be in effect until Sunday, October 13.

In the Central District, premium gasoline, one of the most widely used fuel types, will see a reduction of L0.49 per gallon. Regular gasoline will also decrease, although more moderately, with a drop of L0.16 per gallon.

Kerosene will see a reduction of L0.42 per gallon. Diesel, essential for the transport of goods and heavy vehicles, will also see a reduction, falling to L0.43 per gallon.

Vehicle LPG, on the other hand, will see a small increase of L0.09 per gallon. Domestic LPG, on the other hand, will remain unchanged thanks to a government subsidy that ensures its stability at L238.13.

In San Pedro Sula, premium gasoline in this city will also see a reduction of L0.49 per gallon, which represents a considerable savings for local drivers. Regular gasoline will see a drop of L0.17 per gallon.

While kerosene will decrease by L0.41 per gallon, diesel in San Pedro Sula will also be cheaper, decreasing by L0.42 per gallon.
