Halle Bailey has walked back her initial reaction over ex-boyfriend DDG having their son Halo with him on Kai Cenat’s livestream.
The pair appeared on Cenat’s Twitch channel on Wednesday (November 6) as part of the streamer’s 30-day “Mafiathon 2” event. After being made aware of the stream, Bailey took to X to publicly denounce the move, saying she felt her boundaries were not respected and she wasn’t happy with the decision.
The next morning, however, she had a change of heart.
“yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here,” she wrote on X. “i know that halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. thank u kai for the gifts for halo.”

In her original posts, Halle Bailey wrote: “[H]i everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight.
“[I] wasn’t told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. i am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town.”
In a follow-up post, she added: “[A]s a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that i wish to be respected. nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.”
In an awkward moment during the livestream, Cenat appeared to show DDG Bailey’s initial post but the rapper and YouTuber gave no reaction.
The former couple announced their breakup last month after two years together.
Since the breakup, DDG has seemingly expressed regret at the relationship, admitting to fans that he would tell his younger self not to have a serious partner.
