Michelle Vieth was born on November 19, 1979 in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. At the age of 16, while in high school, she accepted a friend’s invitation to participate as an extra in the telenovela Acapulco, cuerpo y alma , produced by José Alberto Castro.
Her talent caught the attention of Valentín Pimstein, vice president of production at Televisa, who invited her to audition alongside actor Juan Soler, then sent the results to executives in Mexico City.
The Televisa committee saw her potential, but considered her training necessary, so Michelle entered the company’s Center for Artistic Education. During her training, she took acting, nutrition and modeling workshops.
It was there that she met producer Pedro Damián, who offered her the leading role in Mi pequeña traviesa alongside Héctor Soberón, a role that launched her to fame and earned her the TVyNovelas award for Best Newcomer in 1999.
Her personal life also took on relevance, marrying her co-star Héctor Soberón in 2001, although their marriage ended in 2004. In 2003, Michelle ventured into reality television by joining Big Brother VIP 2 , where she was the fourth to be eliminated.
