On June 22, 2016, she was deported to Honduras and detained by authorities.
Sentenced to 12 years and 3 months in prison in 2016 for money laundering, Molina was found guilty of laundering nearly 10 million lempiras through the company Insumedic, taking advantage of her relationship with Zelaya, who at the time was a purchasing manager at the IHSS.
Imprisoned for corruption
