Tropical Depression 12, according to meteorologists, has the potential to strengthen and become Hurricane Kirk before next weekend.

This Sunday, September 29, the National Hurricane Center in Miami announced the formation of tropical depression 12 in the Atlantic Ocean , a system that could evolve into Hurricane Kirk before the end of the week.

This announcement comes after Hurricane Helene , which hit the northeast coast of Florida on Thursday, the 26th, leaving behind tragedy, flooding and considerable destruction.

Recovery in Florida is in its early stages as weather experts keep an eye on three systems in the Atlantic Ocean.

In addition to the new depression, Hurricane Isaac and Tropical Storm Joyce remain active in the region, although neither of these systems currently poses an immediate threat to land.

Tropical Depression 12, according to meteorologists, has the potential to strengthen and become Hurricane Kirk before next weekend.

On the other hand, Mexico has also faced the effects of hurricanes John, Helene and Isaac during this season, experiencing intense rains and strong winds that have impacted several states in the country.
