A 38-year-old woman has died in Villarreal, Spain, after being rushed to a health centre after being bitten by a hamster.
The woman collapsed at the entrance and died of as yet unknown causes.
Emergency workers were particularly concerned about the woman’s cardiac arrest, but were unable to save her despite efforts to resuscitate her. The investigation is now focusing on the injury the woman sustained after a hamster bit her.
