Jadakiss has admitted that the best party he’s ever been to was hosted by Diddy, but it was years before the disturbing allegations against the mogul came to light.
Appearing on Complex‘s “GOAT Talk” series alongside his son Jaewon, the LOX lyricist was asked to name the “G.O.A.T.” party he’s attended.
Despite his former label boss being accused of various sex crimes, some of which allegedly occured at his famous parties, Kiss couldn’t help but give the nod to Puffy.
“For me, by far, was a Diddy party,” he said. “We were signed to Bad Boy. We had some of the best parties ever in our life.”
He then clarified: “This is long before anything, any allegations, any of that. When we was only going to house parties and parties in gymnasiums, with him is the first time we ever been in Cipriani’s or any of that kind of shit.”
Jada added: “My G.O.A.T. party is we had a launch to the tour party. We had a party then the tour buses were outside and we went on tour after the party. That was the G.O.A.T. party. That was incredible. Parking lot was filled with tour buses.”
While Jadakiss may have enjoyed Diddy’s parties, one person who refused to even attend them is his old rival 50 Cent.
In a recent interview with The Enthusiast Podcast, the G-Unit mogul explained his stance: “I’m just not with all that freaky shit. Like, all of the stuff he’s doing, I’m not into that type of stuff. I’m just a little more, maybe you could say, basic or normal.”
In a separate conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, 50 pinpointed his disdain for Diddy on a “weird” interaction that left him feeling uncomfortable.
“He asked to take me shopping,” Fif recalled. “I thought that was the weirdest shit in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman. And I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not fucking with this weird energy or weird shit,’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.”
While Puffy was famed for throwing some of the hottest parties attended by a who’s who of celebrities, it’s his alleged “freak off” sex parties that are the heart of his sex trafficking and racketeering case.
It’s alleged by prosecutors that the 54-year-old forced women — using drugs, violence, threats and blackmail — to have sex with male prostitutes while he masturbated and recorded the encounters.
The federal indictment also revealed that evidence of these freaks offs was found during the raids on his homes earlier this year, including video footage and 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges and could remain in jail until the trial begins next year having repeatedly been denied bond.
