Journalist Bob Woodward is to publish the book “War,” which traces the history of three conflicts: the Middle East, Ukraine and Russia, as well as the struggle for the presidency of the United States.

In one passage in the book, Joe Biden called Netanyahu a “bad guy” in private conversations in the spring of 2024, as the Gaza war escalated and began to spread to other countries.
Later in July, when an Israeli airstrike targeted the Lebanese capital, killing a senior Hezbollah commander and scores of civilians, Biden reportedly lashed out at Netanyahu, shouting “What the f—?” journalist Bob Woodward reports.
The Israeli prime minister reportedly responded that he saw an opportunity and seized it. “The harder you hit, the more successful you will be in negotiating,” he reportedly added.
