JT has publicly told Lil Uzi Vert how happy she is to see the Philly native cross the finish line and release their latest album Eternal Atake 2.
On Friday (November 1), the day the project arrived, the former City Girl took to Instagram to share a carousel of herself and Uzi dressed in all white in a tropical locale and on the flight that presumably took them their.
She captioned the post: “So proud of you always! [three white heart emojis] My top 3 is light year, pears to mars & Mr.chow honorable mention chill bae! Really the whole thing but that’s being bias because you do no wrong in my eyes! Forever your #1 fan! Paint the world white my baby, congratulations on EA2”
The City Cinderella rapper also included the Eternl Atake 2 cover art in her post.
Two days ahead of its release, Lil Uzi Vert ramped up the rollout for their new album by taking over the New York City skies with a UFO.
A promotional video for the album’s release has gone viral, with fans amazed at the sight of an alien spaceship flying over the Big Apple.
It has not been revealed how the stunt was achieved but it was likely through the use of holograms.
If it wasn’t clear already, Eternal Atake 2 has a strong sci-fi theme.
Lil Uzi Vert released the artwork for the album last week, with it depicting a group of purple women with their eyes lit up pink, à la Five Nights at Freddy’s.
A cinematic trailer for the album was also released, opening with a shot of Earth from outer space.
The video then explains: “On March 6, 2020, Lil Uzi Vert mysteriously vanished. While it was never confirmed what happened that day, the faithful believed it to be the fulfillment of a long awaited prophecy.”
The camera then cuts to a UFO that teleports through an Eternal Atake 2 logo and lands on a futuristic space station, where Uzi has their memory wiped by purple-eyed aliens.
The trailer ends by saying Eternal Atake 2, which will serve as the sequel to his chart-topping 2020 effort, is “coming soon.”
