Kanye West Shows Support For Palestine During 'Vultures' China Concert

China –

Kanye West appears to have thrown his support behind Palestine in its ongoing conflict with Israel during his second Vultures listening experience in China.

Kanye, who has come under intense criticism in recent years for his antisemitic views, reportedly displayed a photograph of an olive tree in Palestine before his show kicked off.

The picture originates from the First Intifada, a period of sustained protest against the Israeli occupation of Palestine between 1987 and 1993.

By the end of the period, 1,000 Palestinians had been killed including over 200 children, with the Israeli response to the protests and riots receiving much criticism, mainly due to the use of live ammunition by the army.

Kanye previously claimed that he did not know enough to comment on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

He told TMZ in February: “I don’t have enough information on that. I’m a straight up n-gga from the south side of Chicago. I don’t have enough information.

“There’s love for everybody but don’t pull me into that conversation. I got 14 kids dying every week in my city so talk to me about that.”

Kanye also used his concert in China to announce his next album which he says will be titled Bully.

In a clip shared on social media, the rapper could be making the announcement on stage, saying: “I got a new album coming out. The album is called Bully. And this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.’”

Ye then offered the audience a nearly two-minute long preview of the track, which features the line, “It’s been a long time coming” as part of the chorus.

The G.O.O.D. Music founder previously teased a song called “Preacher Man” at his first Vultures performance in China, confirming it would appear on his “next album.”

At the time, it was assumed that he was referencing Vultures 3, his planned collaborative project with Ty Dolla $ign, but now it seems Kanye may have meant Bully instead.

That show also saw Kanye and Ty perform a new track together which heavily samples Vanessa Carlton’s 2002 pop ballad “A Thousand Miles.”
