As summer ends and Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis head back to school, Kate Middleton is reportedly experiencing “mixed emotions.”
It’s time to head back to school for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. For their mother, Kate Middleton , that means time for guilt-free “rest” as she continues her cancer treatment, a royal expert says.
Although she has enjoyed the summer months (including Taylor Swift ‘s Eras concert , Wimbledon , beach trips and Scotland), Kate, according to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, will likely breathe a sigh of relief when her children return to school.
A rest without guilt
“I think, like most mums, Catherine will be experiencing mixed emotions about the end of the school holidays ,” she told OK! “Entertaining three children day in and day out – especially when there must still be days when she’s feeling the effects of her cancer treatment – must not have been easy over the last few weeks.”
And Bond adds that Kate will certainly appreciate having some alone time while George, Charlotte and Louis are in class. “Now it’s back to the morning discipline of school uniforms, bags packed, homework done and the school run. “It will give Catherine the chance to rest when she needs it without feeling guilty about not being with the children. And it will also give her the chance to continue the work she’s been doing behind the scenes on the campaign and the projects that are so close to her heart.”
