im Jong-un was caught off guard. South Korea showed off its military might on Tuesday in a parade that displayed an impressive arsenal for the world to see.
At the annual celebration of South Korea’s armed forces, the country took the opportunity to send a clear message to its North Korean neighbor not to use nuclear warheads or risk being razed by South Korean firepower.
During the parade, South Korea unveiled its Hyunmoo-5 ballistic missile, capable of destroying an underground bunker.
The local military explained that this new ultra-precise and very powerful missile can hit any target located on the Korean peninsula.
In his speech at the event, President Yoon Suk-yeol said his country, which is militarily allied with the United States, will respond in the strongest possible manner in the event of a nuclear attack from the North Korean regime.
“That day will mark the end of the North Korean regime,” he said.
