The duo of Melvin Duarte ‘El Ordinario’ and Jordan, 12 years old, surprised the judges but it was little Jordan who stole the attention during this second gala of La Voz Urbana Catracha
The young people performed the song ‘Guatuba’ by Plan B and from the beginning of their performance the judges were surprised.
The exciting thing about the performance was that Melvin was the one competing and Jordan was just accompanying him to sing the chorus; however, the little boy received the best reviews of the night, even the judges agreed that he had overshadowed his friend.
The judges highlighted that the young boy has talent and that he is a promise for the urban genre in Honduras.
“My respects to that kid, my respects to him because he brings back memories of when I started. He brings back a potential brother. This kid has a lot of potential and they can really exploit that talent,” said Maynor.
Maynor MC offered them a production of his own to highlight their talent. He even broke down in tears when he recalled that, like those two young men, he started at a very young age and many times doors were closed to him in music.
The most surprising thing was that the duo did not make it to the next round of La Voz Urbana Catracha.
