Lil Durk took a moment during his big hometown concert to pay tribute to people he knows who have passed — including FBG Duck, whose mother recently sued Durk, claiming the rapper bears some responsibility for her son’s 2020 murder.

Durk’s show, which took place at Chicago’s United Center on Sunday (October 20), featured appearances from Lil Baby, Nardo Wick, JT and more.

Durk’s photo montage of the departed featured, in addition to FBG Duck, Juice WRLD, King Von, Lil Jojo and others.

You can see the montage in the video below.

The inclusion of FBG Duck may surprise some observers because the late rapper’s mother LaSheena Weekly sued Durk as well as the estate of the late King Von, along with their OTF label and associated record companies and distributors, earlier this month, accusing them of being responsible for her son’s murder.

The suit, filed on October 9 in Circuit Court in Cook County, Illinois, mentions an allegation first reported in 2023, that Von placed a $100,000 bounty on Duck. The suit holds Durk, who signed Von to his OTF label, responsible for the alleged bounty as well.

“Lil Durk…engag[ed] in, plann[ed], approv[ed] the bounty on FBG Duck’s life and condon[ed] the acts of violence King Von engaged when he knew or should have known of the violent conduct, and violent histories of King Von and other known gang members he affiliated [with],” the suit reads.

“Lil Durk knew long before 2020 that King Von had a vendetta against FBG Duck, sought to rob and kill in the music industry, and consistently sought to build a brand of violence and reality rap based on committing real acts of violence on FBG Duck and the public at large.”

King Von was killed in November 2020 in Atlanta, just three months after Duck was murdered in Chicago. In January 2024, six men, all of whom are charged in the suit as well, were found guilty of FBG Duck’s murder.

OTF is accused in the suit of being “a hub for the O-Block criminal enterprise and street gang” and “the media outpost of the O-Block criminal organization.”
