Lil Kim and Teddy Riley are both icons with long and storied careers, and now they have something else in common — new touring deals with the same partners.
On Monday (September 30), Billboard reported that the legendary rapper and the hit-making producer have both joined forces with Day After Day Productions and Emancipated Icon Entertainment Group for their worldwide touring engagements.
Emancipated Icon is a new company formed by, as the name might indicate, the CEOs of Emancipated Talent (Rich Murphy) and Icon Entertainment (Greg Walker). Day After Day is run by its founder Seth Shomes. Shomes, according to his bio, “became the first agent to build a platform for non-traditional entertainment programming to thrive in the gaming/casino industry” — so it wouldn’t be surprising if an Usher-style Vegas residency for Kim, Riley, or both was in the cards.

Lil Kim has been keeping her stage chops sharp by popping up as a special guest on big shows — including one last month with Usher in Brooklyn.
September 9 was night three of the singer’s four consecutive nights at the Barclays Center, and as usual, Ursh had some tricks up his sleeve.
At one point in the night, the superstar singer threw money on stage as he brought out GloRilla to perform her latest hit “TGIF,” and later, he was joined by hometown hero Kim for her classic, “Quiet Storm (Remix).”
