A man murdered his brother after he intervened in a heated argument he had with another of his brothers in Malambo, Atlántico, Colombia.
According to local media such as Noticias Caracol, the first reports from the authorities indicate that the fateful event occurred last Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 10:30 p.m.
Reports indicate that when the three brothers were partying, amid alcohol, in a residence and suddenly two of them started an argument, so the third brother, Yerizon Hernández Villeros, 33 years old, intervened to separate them.
In the middle of the fight, while trying to separate those involved, Yerizon was stabbed by his brother Fernando Hernández, 36 years old.
Apparently, Fernando did not like Yerizon’s intervention in the conflict with his other brother and the way he scolded them and that is why he attacked him with the knife.
After the incident, the man was taken to a medical center, where he was reported dead, while the person responsible was arrested by the authorities to answer for what he did.
