Who is Manuel Monsalve?
Manuel Zacarías Monsalve Benavides , born July 9, 1965 in Coronel, Chile, is a Chilean surgeon and politician. A member of the Socialist Party (PS) from 1992 to 2024, he served as the group’s general secretary in 2010. Between 2022 and 2024, he served as Undersecretary of the Interior under the government of Gabriel Boric.
