Marco’s wife has not commented on social media regarding her partner’s death, however, it is known that they got married last year and a few days ago she shared a video of Marco on TikTok assuring that she would not leave him.

Little is known about Marco’s wife, since she does not make her personal information public on social media. It is only known that she has a TikTok account where she uploads videos of herself and a child who is presumed to be the son of the couple and Marco.

In a video posted by Valentina on the social media platform TikTok, they are seen kissing each other after celebrating their marriage, she is dressed in green and the Ecuadorian soccer player is dressed in black, according to the date of publication of the video, they got married on January 19, 2023.

Her husband commented on the video with a short but meaningful message, “I love you my queen,” and Valentina responded in kind: “and I love you.” Their marriage lasted a little over a year, however, it is said that the couple had already been dating for several years.

In Valentina’s last post, a video went viral where her husband appears with a child, to whom she added “I will never leave you alone, I will continue to be with you no matter what happens my strong man.” This post is from October 11 of this year.

How did Marco Angulo die?

In the early hours of October 7, Marco Angulo was traveling with other friends, including soccer player Roberto Cabezas. Sadly, Cabezas died at the scene of the accident, while Víctor Charcopa, another of the passengers, died days later due to the serious injuries he suffered, including head trauma, thoracic trauma and pelvic trauma.

However, Marco was admitted to hospital after the accident and after a month of struggling with the serious injuries caused by the accident, he lost his life last Monday, November 11, news that was quickly made public.

Marco Angulo began his football career in the lower divisions of Rocafuerte FC, in his native Guayaquil. Later, in 2017, he joined the youth teams of Independiente del Valle, one of the most recognized Ecuadorian clubs for its solid youth system. With Independiente, Angulo had the opportunity to establish himself in the U-20 Copa Libertadores, where he showed his great talent and potential.

In addition to his club achievements, Marco Angulo also had the opportunity to represent Ecuador in international competitions. He was part of the U-17 team that participated in the South American Championship of that category in 2019 in Lima, where Ecuador qualified for the U-17 World Cup in Brazil. During that tournament, Angulo played four matches, reaching the round of 16.
