The American election campaign is in full swing. And now Melania Trump, the wife of the Republican candidate, has released her memoirs in which she freely discusses her disagreements with the former president.
These statements are a hit with American talk shows and news channels.
“I don’t think we’ve ever seen a candidate’s wife say, ‘I totally disagree with my husband’s party on a key issue,'” CNN columnist Van Jones said.
A way to torpedo her husband? “She hates him,” is the repeated phrase on US talk shows. “Maybe Melania will show up at a meeting with Kamala Harris!” jokes Van Jones.
