A tragic accident occurred in the community of Arcamón, municipality of San Marcos de Caiquín, Lempira, western Honduras, where a minor lost his life after a wall of his home collapsed.
The deceased, identified as Emerson Valentín González, was at home when the wall collapsed and crushed him.
The minor’s sister was also injured in the incident and is currently hospitalized.
José Genaro Valentín, the children’s father, reported that the girl has shown improvement and is stable, although the date of her discharge has not yet been determined.
The father appealed to the community, asking for help to cover his daughter’s medical expenses.
