An attempted robbery in the heart of San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina, was foiled in an unusual way by the owner of the motorcycle, who, upon discovering the thief red-handed, hit him on the head with his helmet to scare him away.
A video recorded by a security camera shows the exact moment when the motorcyclist intercepts the criminal and forces him to abandon his attempt to escape.
The incident occurred after the man parked his motorcycle. When he returned to look for it, he found the thief trying to start it. The criminal barely managed to advance a meter and the motorcycle blocked.
It was at that moment that, while he was checking the lock, the owner of the motorcycle surprised him with a sharp blow to the back of the neck using his helmet.
After the initial blow, the two engaged in a brief struggle until the motorcyclist managed to scare the thief away.
