Last Friday, the German government guaranteed the continuation of its aid to Ukraine.
Despite the political turmoil surrounding the break-up of Olaf Scholz’s coalition, Germany has promised to maintain its bilateral aid to Kiev. At a press conference, executive spokeswoman Christiane Hoffmann stressed: “It’s important to say that aid to Ukraine – military support, financial support – is assured, and that we are providing significant aid, both nationally and within the framework of the G7”.
