Dalmasso’s murder generated a great media impact, being compared to the case of María Marta García Belsunce, another crime that occurred in a country club. She was found naked and strangled, and the images of the case had not been released until they appeared in a report.
Eighteen years have passed since the tragic event that shocked the entire country, with society waiting for every detail, as if it were a soap opera.
Who is responsible for the murder of Nora Dalmasso?
Although he was investigated at the time and later released from the case, Miguel Rohrer is still pointed out by Nora Dalmasso’s children as the main suspect of the crime. Known as “the Frenchman “, this 67-year-old businessman was a close friend of the family and of the widower, Marcelo Macarrón.
In 2016, Rohrer appeared before the Courts of Río Cuarto, after having been linked to the case. Despite his testimony, the suspicions of Dalmasso’s children persist, and the case remains unresolved.
The Criminal and Correctional Court of Río Cuarto summoned Facundo and Valentina Macarrón to testify in the trial against their father, the only defendant in the case. During the hearing, Valentina again pointed the finger at Rohrer, who decided to break his silence.

Marcelo and Nora met in 1984, when he was 25 years old and recovering from an ankle injury sustained during a rugby match. His friends remember him as a great sportsman, and he even played for the provincial team.
While playing rugby, Marcelo also studied medicine , where he later specialized as a traumatologist. Nora, on the other hand, owned a boutique and always stood out for her elegant taste in fashion.
After three years of dating, the couple decided to get married. Initially, they lived in Córdoba, since Marcelo worked at the Sanatorio Allende, but they finally settled in Río Cuarto.
