Aguilar Godoy said that authorities carried out three raids in different areas of the department of Colón, as part of the investigations.

During these operations, the following were arrested:

  • Oscar Alexis Guardado Alvarenga, 26, captured in the Echenique neighborhood of Tocoa, Colón.

“There is sufficient technical and scientific evidence linking both individuals to the murder of Juan López,” said the senior police officer.

Among the related evidence, Aguilar Godoy pointed out that proceedings were carried out based on expert reports on devices and information and telecommunications technologies (ICTs), which were analyzed by the agents, allowing a clear context of the events to be reconstructed.
