Provisional arrest warrant issued for Honduran man sought for extradition by Mexico
Cambronero was arrested on Saturday, November 9 in Omoa, Cortés, after being requested for extradition by the Mexican authorities.

A first instance extradition judge on Sunday ordered the provisional arrest of Honduran Manuel Antonio Cambronero, who is wanted for extradition by Mexico for “drug trafficking and possession of weapons.”
The Judiciary reported that after the end of the information hearing, the judge in charge of the case indicated that Cambronero must serve the sentence in the National Penitentiary of Támara , Francisco Morazán.
Likewise, the parties were summoned for Friday, December 6 at 9:30 in the morning to hold the hearing for the presentation and evacuation of evidentiary means .
Finally, the Judiciary explained that the purpose of this hearing was to inform the requested citizen of the charges that have been filed by the requesting State, the facts, and the rights that he has in the process.
Capture of Honduran wanted for extradition
Cambronero was captured by anti-drug teams of our National Police on Saturday, November 9 in Omoa, Cortés , in northern Honduras.
According to Mexican authorities, Cambronero Recinos is linked to criminal activities related to drug trafficking and arms trafficking.
His arrest was carried out as part of an international cooperation effort to combat organized crime, the National Police reported.
