The Serbian government announced that it had agreed with Moscow “to promote and strengthen cooperation between the security structures” of the two countries.
To this end, Deputy Prime Minister and former head of Serbian intelligence Aleksandar Vulin met with senior officials of the Kremlin’s security services.
Cooperation with Russia will include training Serbian security services, the Serbian government said in a statement on its website. Vulin, an openly pro-Russian politician, was decorated in January by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian FSB intelligence service for his merits in developing cooperation between Serbia and Russia.
