Moscow has just reacted, and the answer is clear: Putin, who is missing in action, has no intention of congratulating his American counterpart. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the United States remains “a hostile country that is directly and indirectly involved in a war against our state”. He added that Trump’s future presidency would be judged “on its actions”.
