This is a record attack since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
A total of 145 Russian drones targeted Ukraine on Saturday night. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, this is a “record” since the start of the conflict. In a statement, the Ukrainian Air Force said that 62 of these devices had been neutralized over 13 regions of the country.
For its part, Kiev sent a salvo of drones towards Moscow on Sunday. The scale of the launch was unprecedented: 34 drones targeted the Russian capital, while 36 others were neutralized and destroyed over other cities in western Russia.
