Rain forecast for Friday, October 4 in these areas of Honduras

According to Copeco, the rains will be caused by the Intertropical Convergence Zone that will be located over the national territory.
The Secretariat for National Risk and Contingency Management (Copeco) reported that the transport of humidity from the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean towards the interior of the country will leave rain this Friday in a large part of the national territory.
According to Copeco, this phenomenon associated with the influence of the Intertropical Convergence Zone will cause light to occasionally moderate showers; with isolated thunderstorms in the center and sectors of the north, east and west of Honduras.
In addition, the National Center for Atmospheric, Oceanographic and Seismic Studies (Cenaos) of Copeco, indicated that for the Central zone , the department of Francisco Morazán will have a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius (°C) and a maximum of 28 degrees.
Meanwhile, in the southern region, stable and sunny conditions are expected throughout the day. Choluteca and Valle will reach a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 32 °C.
Light rains
In the western part of the country, light rainfall is expected in much of the region. The departments of Copán, Santa Bárbara and Ocotepeque will record a minimum temperature of 18 °C and a maximum of 31 °C.
Rains accompanied by thunderstorms are forecast for the eastern part of the Central American nation. Olancho, El Paraíso and Gracias a Dios will experience temperatures between 20 °C and 33 °C.
Finally, rainy conditions are expected in the southwestern part of the country. Lempira, Intibucá and La Paz will record a minimum temperature of 16 °C and a maximum of 30 °C.
Waves, moon phase and sunrise
Copeco said waves on the Caribbean coast will be 1 to 3 feet high with a maximum of 4 feet, and in the Gulf of Fonseca (Pacific) waves will be 1 to 3 feet high.
Sunrise will be at 05:39 in the morning and sunset at 05:36 in the evening. The lunar phase is New Moon .
