Rain in Honduras this Wednesday due to a wedge of high pressure and humidity

Rainfall accumulations will reach between 40 and 50 millimeters in at least eight departments of Honduras, according to the Cenaos forecast.

high pressure wedge , along with the entry of humidity from the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, will generate rain in most of the Honduran territory on Wednesday, according to the National Center for Atmospheric, Oceanographic and Seismic Studies (Cenaos).

According to Cenaos, the high pressure wedge will produce fresh winds from the north and northeast, which will cause intermittent light to moderate rainfall, as well as isolated thunderstorms in the northern and northwestern regions.

Meanwhile, humidity from the Caribbean and the Pacific will cause light to moderate, scattered and occasionally heavy rains and showers in the southern, southwestern, central and eastern regions of the country.

Rainfall accumulations will reach between 40 and 50 millimeters in departments such as La Paz, Ocotepeque, Olancho, El Paraíso, La Paz, Choluteca, Francisco Morazán and Cortés, according to the Cenaos forecast.

In the rest of the country, rainfall of between 20 and 30 millimetres is expected.

Maximum temperatures expected for this day nationwide will range between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius, except in the department of Intibucá, where they are expected to remain below 20 degrees Celsius.
