With more than 25 thousand people, Plaza del 5 became the epicenter of joy and celebration this Saturday, during the Chonguengue in the Tegucigalpa Carnival, which with great success commemorated the 446th anniversary of the capital and the 65 years of Channel 5.

The day, which started early, ended with a crowd full of enthusiasm and fun, leaving an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

From the early hours, Suyapa Boulevard vibrated to the rhythm of the best shows of Las Mañanas del 5, La Cocina del 5, El Macaneo TV and Sábado Feliz.

 

The festive atmosphere continued throughout the day, with thousands of residents enjoying live music, artistic performances, and the excitement of the raffles that made the dreams of several lucky winners come true.

In total, 65 prizes valued at 700 thousand lempiras were awarded by Channel 5, including five prizes of 65 thousand lempiras each , 4 motorcycles, household appliances and technological equipment.

One of the highlights was the awards ceremony, where Miguel Elvir became one of the big winners by taking home a laptop and a television, rewarding his enthusiasm and perseverance.

 

The excitement continued with the prize of 65 thousand lempiras given to Oscar Orlando Lino Nuñez , father of a child who impressed everyone with his beach dance, and the unexpected joy of a worker at the Mayor’s Office, Leibis Leticia Brandin Baca, who took a motorcycle home.

 

The stick figures and floats shone throughout the event, offering a visual spectacle that thrilled the attendees.

The party reached its climax with the stellar performance of Don Chezina , who was in charge of closing the night with all his hits and kept the audience dancing until the last minute, along with Banda Z, Key Key and the participants of La Voz Urbana Catracha , who were in charge of opening the presentation.

The Tegucigalpa carnival in Plaza del 5 exceeded all expectations, establishing itself as one of the largest and most successful events in the city.

The party not only celebrated the anniversary of the capital, but also reaffirmed Televicentro and Emisoras Unidas ‘ commitment to providing entertainment, prizes and unforgettable moments for all Honduran families.
