Footage shows a Russian convoy trying to get past Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. The scene took place on a highway south of the city of Olgivka. After all, the Russians wanted to advance toward the villages of Zelenii Shliakh and Novoivanivka. But the Ukrainians ambushed the Russians.
The Ukrainians put up stiff resistance and then took the army vehicles under fire and completely destroyed them, the footage shows. Among others, a tank and several armored cars fell prey to the Ukrainian fire.
“Today was an incredibly difficult day near Novoivanivka. Our artillery units and drone operators had to engage in direct combat. Although the enemy initially gained ground near Snagost, by the end of the day they were brought to a complete halt,” write analysts from the Ukrainian project DeepState.
