  Reynolds and fellow co-chairman Rob McElhenney have pieced together an ambitious and intriguing project at SToK Racecourse, with it their intention to reach the Premier League. Ronaldo may yet form part of those plans, despite being 39 years of age, with a move into acting something that supposedly appeals to the all-time great.

    French World Cup winner Leboeuf, who spent time in England with Chelsea and also turned out for Hollywood United, has told SportsCasting.com of the Ronaldo to Wrexham rumours: “There is a chance for one reason. In my phone, I have an interview that I made with Ronaldo in the US for ESPN when I asked him if he wanted to be an actor after his career and he said ‘why not?’.

    “I think Ronaldo is clever enough to sign for Wrexham after his career to play in a beautiful Hollywood movie. Why not? If he loves football and wants to play for Wrexham, but at the same time is thinking about being a fantastic actor in Hollywood, I’m fine with that. I love ambition. Ronaldo is a hell of a character so it would be great for Wrexham.”

    WHAT NEXT FOR RONALDO?

    Ronaldo is only under contract at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr until the summer of 2025, although he is expected to agree an extension to those terms. A return to the United Kingdom for the former Manchester United star is, however, not being ruled out – with anything considered to be possible when it comes to CR7.
