Security chief of Customs director arrested, accused of murder
The police officer was arrested in response to an arrest warrant for allegedly committing simple homicide against another subject, according to authorities.

A police officer from the National Directorate of Protection and Special Services ( DNPSE ), who is head of the personal security detail for the director of the Honduran Customs Administration (Aduanas), Fausto Cálix , was arrested on Saturday and charged with homicide.
According to information from the DNPSE, the captured police officer was identified as Sub-Inspector Donal Fernando Ferrufino Moncada , who was arrested yesterday around 1:30 in the afternoon in a location not detailed by the authorities.
In this regard, the DNPSE reported that at 10:00 p.m. the hearing of the accused’s statement against the captured police officer was held and after the hearing, he was given preventive detention .
In this way, the police officer, who until now had been acting as security for Fausto Cálix , will remain in prison, although the authorities did not specify in which facility he will be imprisoned .
