Sheinbaum promises that investments will be safe at the beginning of her term

Claudia Sheinbaum promised on Tuesday that private investments by national and foreign entrepreneurs will be “safe,” as well as a “responsible” fiscal policy.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum promised on Tuesday that private investments from national and foreign entrepreneurs would be “safe” and that fiscal policy would be “responsible,” during her first speech as the country’s new leader.

At the same time, the president, who took office on Tuesday as the first woman in office for the 2024-2030 six-year term, said during her first speech that “it is time for transformation and it is time for women,” at the inauguration ceremony in the Chamber of Deputies in the North American country.
